Grand Bazaar introduces a 2-hour delivery promise in major cities; aims to make shopping in India easier

April 05: In one of its first projects, Big Bazaar would offer a 2-hour delivery promise in metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. This development is ensured because Big Bazaar has a wide and comprehensive network of stores in every corner of the major metropolises of India. It also ensures that consumers can shop across all major consumer categories.
The second phase of the brand’s 2-hour delivery promise will be rolled out over the next 45 days in all cities with at least 3 Big Bazaar stores. Additionally, Big Bazaar wants to expand this service to more than 150 cities where Big Bazaar stores are available. This development has created convenient opportunities for Big Bazaar consumers who can now shop across product categories such as fashion, home, kitchen and dairy products. the bright side is that every order is delivered to customers’ doorsteps within 2 hours.

The order can be placed through the Big Bazaar web portal and the Google Play and Appstore mobile application. The service is available from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The minimum order value for the service is Rs. 500 and the delivery cost is 49. However, the order value is more than Rs. 1000 will be delivered free of charge. Kishore Biyani, Founder and CEO, Future Group said, “With this launch, Future Group becomes the country’s first multi-channel retailer with complete digital capabilities.
